About the Role
We are currently working with a leading residential developer to recruit a Commercial Administrator for their office in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team and support the commercial function across a range of high-quality new-build housing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Commercial team, including Quantity Surveyors and Buyers
Assist with the processing of purchase orders, subcontractor payments, and invoice management
Maintain accurate commercial records and support document control processes
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication
Prepare and distribute tender documentation, reports, and cost summaries
Support internal compliance procedures and ensure all documentation is up to date
Carry out general office tasks including data entry, scheduling, and filing
Requirements
Experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction or housebuilding
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of COINS or similar construction software is advantageous
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
