About the Role

CR3 is currently working with a leading Window Installer & Architectural Aluminium company based in Buckinghamshire, who are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to deliver projects on time and to budget; with an emphasis on service delivery and client communications. Primarily working in the New Build & Social Housing sector providing Curtain Walling, Aluminium, Composite & UPVc Window & Door Solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to work within the South-East, Midlands and London

  • Oversee and manage contracts, ensuring successful project delivery.

  • Organise resource & Management of operatives on live sites

  • Responsibility for Health & Safety implementation, monitoring and reporting

  • Controlling labour & material budgets and ensuring works on site reported accurately to allow for applications & invoicing

  • Work closely with the team to optimize operations and enhance efficiency.

  • Ensuring that all contracts are accurate and relevant documentation is correct and updated when necessary

  • Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and suppliers

  • Developing plans to fit the schedule of works

  • Producing internal programmes liaising with and co-ordinating with the overall client programme

  • Controlling QA/QC systems & sign off of completed works

  • Identifying ways to increase efficiency and improve productivity


Tasks/Duties:

Working with the Estimator and Buyer/project co-ordinator to organise, start on site, see through and complete jobs including:

On-site – Job Management requirements

  • All on-site H&S

  • Pre-start meetings

  • Creation of RAMs

  • Materials order list

  • Organising & sourcing of labour

  • Weekly progress reports

  • QA/QC

  • Start on site with operatives & site visits when/where required

  • Client liaison meetings mid project

Financial duties including:

  • Creating & managing labour budgets

  • Ensuring monthly applications and invoicing is completed

  •  Variations/QS meetings


Requirements

  • Proven track record in the building envelope industry – focus on Windows & Doors.

  • Extensive experience in managing contracts and operations.

  • In-depth knowledge of the building envelope business.

  • Good internal reporting skills – keeping colleagues informed

  • Ability to work hands-on and lead by example.
