About the Role
We are currently representing a growing and well-established insulation supply business based in Chelmsford, who are looking to appoint an E-Commerce Marketing Executive.
The company operates within a fast-paced, product-driven environment, supplying insulation materials to a predominantly B2B market, and is now investing in its digital presence to support continued growth.
Overview
This is a hands-on, multi-channel role where you will take ownership of the company’s e-commerce marketing activity.
Working across a large product catalogue, you will be responsible for driving traffic, improving online visibility, and increasing conversions across the website and digital channels.
The scope of the role will vary depending on experience — the company is open to:
A more junior candidate with the right attitude who can be trained and developed, or
A more experienced individual who can take ownership and hit the ground running
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimise all e-commerce marketing activity across digital channels
Develop and implement SEO strategies across a wide product range
Plan, execute, and optimise Google Ads campaigns (search & shopping)
Analyse website performance, user behaviour, and conversion data
Oversee website management, ensuring products and content are accurate and optimised
Manage and develop the Shopify platform, improving user journey and performance
Create and deliver email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and repeat business
Manage social media channels, focusing on product promotion and brand awareness
Develop and execute content strategies aligned with commercial objectives
Support the creation of digital assets (graphics, banners, campaign content)
Identify opportunities to improve customer journey and increase online sales
Requirements
Previous experience in an e-commerce or digital marketing role (level flexible)
Strong understanding of SEO, Google Ads, and website analytics tools
Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms (preferred)
Experience managing product-led websites or working with multiple SKUs (advantageous)
Familiarity with email marketing platforms
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Proactive, organised, and willing to learn
