The Opportunity
Due to sustained growth across the region, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Guildford. Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial and financial aspects of multiple residential projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Oversee procurement and subcontractor management, from tender through to final account.
Conduct detailed cost analysis, prepare budgets, forecasts, and valuations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and HSE regulations.
Work collaboratively with internal departments to achieve project and financial targets.
Provide accurate financial reporting to support effective commercial decision-making.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the housebuilding industry.
Strong commercial acumen and a clear understanding of construction contracts and cost control.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Knowledge of HSE regulations and current building legislation.
Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously.
