About the Role

CR3 are currently representing a leading organisation in the leisure and wellbeing sector that is committed to creating inclusive, active spaces where communities can thrive. They are currently seeking a motivated Sales Manager to lead commercial activity across multiple busy sites in Essex.


In this key role, you will oversee membership sales and customer engagement, ensuring every visitor receives an outstanding experience. You’ll be responsible for developing your team, optimising the sales process, and ensuring consistent achievement of performance targets. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll not only guide your team but also engage directly with customers and prospects.

You will be tasked with managing sales pipelines, following up on all membership enquiries, and ensuring team members make the best use of CRM tools and sales processes. Coaching and development of staff will be central to your approach, helping your team deliver exceptional service while driving growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally within the fitness, leisure, or hospitality sectors.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams to hit KPIs and sales targets.

  • A customer-first mindset with a background in client-facing roles.

  • Confidence in coaching and mentoring staff to improve performance.

  • Highly organised, data-focused, and capable of reporting on results clearly and effectively.

  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment and leading by example.

  • A passion for promoting health, wellbeing, and community values.
