About the Role
CR3 are currently representing a well-established social enterprise and housing organisation that delivers high-quality affordable and social housing developments across the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a residential development near Hingham, Norfolk, initially on a temporary basis with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the development is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You will work closely with subcontractors, site teams and the wider project team to ensure programme, quality and health & safety targets are consistently met.
Key responsibilities:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the construction site.
Ensuring all works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.
Maintaining strong health & safety standards across the site.
Monitoring progress against the build programme and addressing any issues or delays.
Carrying out regular site inspections and ensuring works meet the required specifications.
Managing site documentation, records and compliance requirements.
Working closely with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.
Ensuring the site is kept organised, safe and presentable.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in residential housebuilding. You should be confident managing subcontractors and site operations independently and have a strong understanding of health & safety, quality and programme management.
You will ideally hold an SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualification, with relevant experience managing residential developments from a main contractor or housebuilder background.
