About the Role

CR3 are currently representing a well-established social enterprise and housing organisation that delivers high-quality affordable and social housing developments across the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a residential development near Hingham, Norfolk, initially on a temporary basis with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.


The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the development is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You will work closely with subcontractors, site teams and the wider project team to ensure programme, quality and health & safety targets are consistently met.


Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the construction site.

  • Ensuring all works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

  • Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.

  • Maintaining strong health & safety standards across the site.

  • Monitoring progress against the build programme and addressing any issues or delays.

  • Carrying out regular site inspections and ensuring works meet the required specifications.

  • Managing site documentation, records and compliance requirements.

  • Working closely with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.

  • Ensuring the site is kept organised, safe and presentable.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in residential housebuilding. You should be confident managing subcontractors and site operations independently and have a strong understanding of health & safety, quality and programme management.

You will ideally hold an SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualification, with relevant experience managing residential developments from a main contractor or housebuilder background.
